M\u00e9lanie-Karine Dub\u00e9 is a Canadian visual artist renowned for her innovative and captivating work. Born in Dunham, she developed her passion for art at a young age. Her work is notable for the exploration of human nature, society and the environment through varied mediums such as painting, sculpture and installation. The artist shows paintings that only feature trees made from recovered materials. A symbol of oneself, of others, of family, of life itself, the tree takes root in its environment and evolves with the passage of time. It grows up. Tree of life, with the seasons, it changes, surviving, in quiet silence. It is part of a whole in which it fits. Each of her creations surprises both by the technique and its singularity. Her work continues to inspire and fascinate a wide audience. She is also an author.<\/p>\n\n
Working with fabric, she mainly makes two types of creations: with and without a background. This results in \u00ab bas-reliefs \u00bb and wall sculptures. Around thirty creations of breathtaking originality make up the corpus of this exhibit.<\/p>\n\n
