Donation of the month

Each month we will present an object that has been generously donated to the Museum.

Here is the donation for September 2026 !

September marks the start of the new school year, signaling the end of the summer holidays. It is a time of transition into autumn and a return to household routines, also characterized by the grape harvest and the gathering of fruit.

Why not use a beautiful basket during your visit to the orchard?

This basket is an example of coiled basketry, a technique in which strands of natural fibers are twisted into a cord that is wound into a spiral and typically stitched together. It is made from strips of ash wood dating back to circa 1890.
