Festive Day at the Museum

In addition to the varied activities for all ages and offered in a friendly atmosphere, the Museum welcomes the famous artist Richard Séguin who, in addition to the opening of the engraving exhibition he is presenting, will be giving a conference in 2 sessions. It is entitled: Return to Walden, in the footsteps of Henry David Thoreau. Furthermore, note that May 18th is also International Museum Day.

• Grand opening of the exhibit by Guest of Honor Richard Séguin, entitled « The Silences of the Partition », accompanied by a two-session lecture on the theme of « Return to Walden, in the Footsteps of Henry David Thoreau ».
• Self-guided tour of the exhibits;
• Activities for young people;
• Exhibit of creations by students;
• Quilting demonstration with Sylvie Leclerc;
• Shibori demonstration with Laurence Bacon;
• Demonstration by artists from the Coatic'Art group;
• Musical entertainment provided by the Harmony Band of Coaticook;
• Musical entertainment by singer-songwriter André Allard;
• Caricaturist « Mine »;
• And many surprises!
